Microsoft has already announced it’s planning to integrate Xbox One wireless adapters into computer motherboards, allowing users to connect their console accessories to their Windows 10 PCs without using external wireless adapters.

There is an app that has taken this idea of Windows connectivity one step further. Share Across Devices is an impressive app allowing users to share web links, texts or files from any app to any other Windows 10 devices they may own. If you can’t believe what you just read, we’ll say it again: “any” includes Windows 10 desktops, laptops, tablets, phones, Xbox One, and Hololens.

For example, when you share an YouTube link, the target device will automatically launch its default browser in order to open the link. And the best news is that you don’t need to install the Share Across Devices app on the target device.

Windows users simply love the Share Across Devices app

The app developer, Simplisidy, has confirmed more features will be added soon, including the ability to share photos and video across all your Windows devices.

I never thought such a simple app would demonstrate the power of Windows everywhere but I fell in love the moment I sent text from my Windows Mobile phone to my tablet and out immediately opened the appropriate app. I am always running into situations where find a website or want to copy text from my phone to something with a bigger screen and this fulfills that need beautifully. Thank you so much dev for giving me something I can really use and doing it elegantly.

You can download the Share Across Devices app from the Windows Store for free.
