There’s word of a new Windows tablet on the way and while there’s nothing official on the matter, there are clues hinting at a product called the Samsung Galaxy Book. The device seems to be a Samsung machine that would run Microsoft’s operating system. All this information is courtesy of a Windows Store app that popped up recently and revealed information regarding the potential device.
The Book Settings app‘s description states:
What’s the app about?
It would seem this app will help users get access to features such as Battery Life Extender, Pattern Login, or even Screen Mode. Additionally, there are some Samsung features that will be included such as a user manual.
Install ‘Book Settings’ which includes Battery Life Extender, Screen mode, Pattern Log-in, User manual, and other Samsung features.
Book Settings is an application for Galaxy Book. It may not function normally on other devices.
What will it feature?
Consumers will enjoy an AMOLED display, stylus functionality, and with Windows 10. Given the recent Windows 10 Cloud issues, there is a very slim chance to see it here.
When does it come out?
There is no information about its release date, official or otherwise, but one can speculate that it will be in the near feature since “Book” devices are pretty popular at the moment. With the new Surface devices from Microsoft making waves on the market later this year, people might see a different take on the genre coming from Samsung.
