To remedy such issues, you can use roller rejuvenators to infuse some new life in the rollers. Those work by softening up the rubber as well as cleaning its surface.
The first step will be to procure some over-the-shelf printer roller rejuvenators.
Remove the paper tray, cartridges/toner or anything else that might be blocking your access to the roller.
Spray a generous amount of the rejuvenator on a piece of lint-free cloth or paper scrub and use the same to gently wipe the rollers. Do this for a couple of times.
