You all know what happens on the second Tuesday of each month: it’s Patch Tuesday. The Patch Tuesday January 2018 edition focuses heavily on security, bringing a bevy of improvements that will help your Windows systems to successfully block the latest cyber threats.

As a quick reminder, recent security reports unveiled that CPUs are affected by a severe vulnerability that could potentially allow hackers to steal information from your computer.

You can download these updates automatically through Windows Update or get the standalone update package from Microsoft’s Update Catalog. Simply enter the KB number that you want to download, hit Enter and then click on the download button.

Note for AMD PC users: Due to the vast amount of issues reported by users, some of the Patch Tuesday updates may be unavailable for your device. Microsoft blocked the main Windows 7, 8.1 and Windows 10 cumulative updates until they manage to fix the issues reported by users.
