Microsoft announced a new update for OneNote. Users can now edit OneNote documents without the need of re-attaching them. Initially, this update is available for Insiders only (users having a valid license). Once the new feature has been fully tested, it will be available for all the users.

In the new OneNote version, the users are allowed to save changes to the embedded OneNote files without having to attach the respective files again.

This feature was not available in the previous version of the app. Previously, if users were to make any changes in the embedded document, they needed to save the copy of the file first followed by the reattachment of the file.
