New Game Of Thrones Xbox One Special Edition Console Announced

Game of Thrones is currently one of the most popular shows in the world, and if you are a Game of Thrones fan and a gamer, today we have a special treat for you. To celebrate the end of the latest season of Game of Thrones, Microsoft France and Warner France are teaming up in order to bring something special to fans: a special edition of Xbox One inspired by the visual style of Game of Thrones series.

Unfortunately, there are no actual pictures of the new console available, but we got to see a render of it in one of the Xbox FR’s tweets:

Although some gamers aren’t too keen on the visual aspect of this console, we think that it incorporates the look and feel of the popular TV show perfectly. The visual style of the console looks like it came out of the opening sequence of Game of Thrones and will be a perfect addition for your living room, especially if you are fan of the series.

Unfortunately, it seems that underneath the amazing exterior there’s an old Xbox One, and not the latest Xbox One S model, which is a bit disappointing. If you’re hoping to get this particular Xbox One, it’s unfortunately not available to the general public: Xbox France is organizing a contest on its social media and if you’re lucky enough, you might win one of the three Game of Thrones Xbox One consoles.

Xbox France held similar contests in the past with a set of Xbox One Iron Man consoles as prizes.
