Nero AG has just revealed their 2017 software range, which will include Nero 2017 Platinum, for a price of $129.95, Nero Burning Rom 2017 for $49.95, Nero 2017 Classic for $99.95 and Nero Video 2017 for $49.95.
This top of the range Platinum version of Nero 2017 supports playing, converting and editing HEVC/H.265 video. Moreover, it brings up some 4K support with 42 video templates that are optimized for 4K, together with hundreds of effects specially introduced for this quality.

The developers also brought some playback enhancements which include SRT subtitle support for movies, for example. Meanwhile, Gracenote support makes sure that your songs always bring the original cover art.
The Nero video editor also includes now a Multi-Export option that lets you locate and extract several scenes from a longer video in an easy way, all at the same time. Moreover, the Nero Burning ROM is using the latest technology, namely the SecurDisc 4.0 in order to protect data discs that have 256-bits encryption.
The interface for these products has been revamped in order to be more user-friendly. But in case you can’t find what you need with the new interface, Nero thought it through and they are now offering you a KnowHow app. This is a problem-solving app that acts as a second screen for your mobile device.
The team also took care of other aspects, bringing up some enhancements for Wi-Fi sync apps, receiver and free streaming options. These are now available for more UPnP/DLNA media servers, they can stream media from a mobile device to another, search from the mobile device in the Nero MediaHome server. Moreover, it offers full support for wireless sync both on Android and iOS devices.
From the Windows 7 version and newer, you can get your trial for 15 days for all four programs. The Platinum edition offers them all for you, but you can also get them separately.
